Chronicles / Bopsmith

It has a name: Bopsmith

Decision

The music site is called Bopsmith. It was picked from a shortlist where every candidate had already been checked for a free domain and low trademark risk, the rule the owner set when PermitBuzz was named. The owner chose it and bought the domain the same day.

The naming pass followed the rule set two days earlier on another project: research first, then suggest. Every candidate on the shortlist came with its domain confirmed free and its trademark exposure checked. The owner picked Bopsmith and had bought the .com by the end of the day.

A smith makes things by hand from raw material. That is the product’s one argument, so the name carries it.
